HOW OUR PETTICOATS FIT MOST
Our Petticoats are designed to be a one size fits most garment. The petticoat is not on a drawstring but does have adjustability at each end of each panel. Every petticoat feature pleating on the front and back panels. Maintaining historical accuracy and form, each petticoat is designed with the wearer in mind to fit almost any woman. The pleats on the front and back panels are securely affixed to two 30” long cotton tapes.
Step One
To wear the petticoat, first bring the ties from the back panel around to the front of the body and tie a snug bow in front.
Step Two
Bring the front panel up and center in front of your body.
Step Three
Then take the ties on either side of the front panel and tie them snuggly behind your back.
Step Four
Adjust as needed. On both ends of either panel there are about 5 inches of adjustability.
Finished
Every petticoat is 36” long from waist to hem. For taller women, there are an additional 3" of fabric in the hem that are able to be let down to the appropriate length.
